City Centre Motel By Oyo - Seaside

The lady at the front desk was nice.

The check-in process was frustrating. I had to drive to a different location just to check in, which wasted an hour of my time that I could have been spending at the beach. There was also no one to provide directions back to the motel, leaving me confused and lost.

The staff were welcoming lot of the time.

The staff are all brilliantly friendly.

The stay had its ups and downs. While the room was clean and comfortable, the check-in process was quite inconvenient as we had to drive away to get our keys. I appreciated the proximity to local attractions. The lack of staff on-site raised concerns, especially when we faced minor issues like needing extra towels.

great location , but cleanliness needs attention

The staff was great . The rooms were spacious enough for my family with children, and we appreciated the easy access to the main shopping strip. Walking to the beach each day was easy for us, with minimal sand in the car. The proximity to Broadway added extra convenience, great to enjoy dining and shopping without needing to drive.

The cleanliness in our room left something to be desired, with slightly dusty surfaces and unemptied trash cans.

It made my trip to Seaside a nice experience. Came in Seaside to relax and have fun, this good budget hotel was chilled-out base for doing it.

Some of the staff were very rude.

location was great!

young man at the reception was a bit annoyed by the "flood" of people standing in his reception room. he gave us the room keys and just mumbled. as it turned out he gave us a wrong keyb and came towards us quite nervous and was already again or still nervous because we were already in the room.

The room was notably clean, with a super clean bathroom that was superb. Space was cramped was good. While the location was conveniently close to the beach, my experience was marred by unhelpful service from the staff, who were rude during checkout.

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

Clean, comfortable room with a cozy vibe. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach and local restaurants, including delicious seafood nearby. Noise from adjacent rooms made for a restless night. Future guests should consider bringing earplugs for a better night's sleep.

In my wife's opinion, the room could have used more thorough cleaning, especially since we were with so many kids. A more detailed cleaning checklist would make family stays more comfortable.
